Roubaix, Une Lumière plot

Roubaix, France. Chief Commissioner Daoud and his partner, newcomer Louis, investigate the murder of an old woman on Christmas Eve. The neighbors, two young women, are soon arrested. They turn out to be addicts, alcoholics and lovers of each other. Daoud then tries to find a way to regain some form of humanity in the perpetrators, apart from the horror of the crime.
