Beautiful piece of work with good acting, in which the film can regularly get the viewer(s) on the edge of their seats. At least if you like this kind of movies.

Looking at the reviews, that seems to be the case and we also enjoyed this story.

Isabelle Huppert still comes across as a lovely "French" lady who can wrap an unsuspecting young girl around a finger even more easily than I could. After the journey in the tram is over and the bag is returned, the thriller picks up speed (for the impatient among us) and the viewer is dragged into the story at a nice pace. We can safely say that "Greta" was a surprise!

Of course: a positive surprise!

Our rating is an 8!

Haha, what was this again? Isabelle Huppert for beginners or something? Art house for young people? Always hand in a found handbag to 'Found Objects' and do not return it to the rightful owner yourself, because that will only lead to misery, haha... Carry Slee meets La Pianist.. Not that I thought it was bad, on the contrary even. I found the chewing gum scene hilarious; the moment Huppert spits out her chewing gum that ends up in her co-star's hair, haha... I was totally blown away.

The film looks pleasant, with warm colors and cozy interiors. The loft home of the two friends does not look like anyone actually lives there, but rather like a space where photos are taken for an IKEA brochure. Pleasant in itself, but also too unreal in one way or another.

Huppert isn't really frightening, you blow him over like that, don't you? Thought she was rather funny, but maybe that was the director's intention. And the cliché of the dog, should of course not be missing in such a film. When a dog is introduced in a movie, you can be sure that the main character will later find him dead, hung from a tree or poisoned.

Unbelievable sometimes too. Huppert's house looks very tidy and atmospheric for someone who is crazy. And how do you know whether the person you've set your sights on will also take your bag left behind in the subway?

But still a nice film all in all, at times exciting, with a Huppert that does not leave a crushing impression, but succeeds sufficiently in portraying a disturbed person. But more comical than scary. In fact, she's just an outgrowth of herself.

And what does every child need? ...a mother.

Little news to please . It also annoyed me for a while at the lack of originality.

But the play of both ladies is excellent . And the direction is not crazy, so I surrendered to it, and what remains is a nice movie night. With a great ending.

Just not dark or original enough for a 3.5 but a 3 * is certainly in order.
