Breaking In is a film with a concept where you are presented with what you expect. Is there anything wrong with that, no! In fact, it doesn't make it any less special. If you simply like this kind of genre then you should enjoy watching it. Not a boring second.

No, this film is not innovative, but it is entertaining. Of course all kinds of clichés are used and it is a bit 'over the top' here and there. But isn't that also the case in most bond films? If everything has to be truthful, then it is better to watch a nice documentary.
The film is a bit like Panic Room - but it's really better - and a lot of films where evil chases good.
Yet 'Breaking in' offers enough tension - a few times I suddenly felt a bit different in my chair because of fear - for an hour and a half of viewing pleasure. The acting is decent and nothing really annoys you. Yes, perhaps the fact that the emergency services sirens come on again exactly when everything is over. Mom is quite angry but this time not at her children.
Enough for me to give it 3 stars. Just do it when there is nothing on TV.
