Nice blockbuster this Rampage. Big, bigger, biggest obviously applies here, but you know what to expect from the start. An action-packed spectacle with at times juicy humor. The Rock is also much better in his element in these types of movies than in his comedies. Naomi Harris appears credible as Dr Caldwell, a genetics researcher who, along with Jeffrey Dean Morgan, manages to fill the trio of protagonists. Furthermore, you have a trio, George (the albino gorilla), a flying wolf (yes) and a "crocodile" who go full rage. They are the victims of the three capsules of samples that returned unsolicited from space, a place where Energyne experimented. Furthermore, Jake Lacy (Brett) and PJ Byrne (Nelson) play small supporting roles, funny characters in themselves but a bit of B-level acting.

So the film offers what you can expect and that is almost 2 hours of pure entertainment. You have to rate a movie based on its intended purpose and that here is clearly entertaining people. As far as I'm concerned, it turned out well and despite the fact that the CG is not equally good everywhere, still a 3.5 *.

The action scenes look great and the CGI is very good, as you would expect from a blockbuster. But that's all this film is supposed to be about. Because the pointless and ramshackle script, the extremely mediocre acting performances and the dialogues that are completely devoid of inspiration score really unsatisfactory. Adding in a bunch of bad guys who seem to have walked right out of a Studio 100 children's series, I really can't give this film more than 2 stars.

Such hero movies have become so standard these days you just know exactly how it will end, it used to be so much fun with rambo commando king kong jurrasic park you name it, but now you're like 'how can they still be always set up the same storyline'.

Before I start with films I first look carefully at the story and at the beginning, because then I immediately have the impression whether it is a waste of time or not, unfortunately this one was immediately hit because I saw a woman floating in a space station that was damaged , (how the hell can you float around like that without a spacesuit) in a damaged space station?, can someone explain that to me, and oh well when i saw the monster appear i was soon done with it, but still because it was so late i thought I let me finish right away because I had already started, to my great surprise I saw actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan (NEGAN!) who I am a huge fan of, then I thought WHY the hell is he playing in this movie, deserves this not him, such a good actor in a crap movie, you just can't be serious unfortunately that was the case, because i just wish him the best movies, about dwayne johnson i only have hate feelings because he goes out of his way and too much is vain about his figure, he does too Arnold schwarzenegger much after what irritated me, about the film this is just sauce of King Kong/Godzilla and Demagorgon from Stranger Things.

3 stars only for Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
