Doof Kind plot

Tobias was already one year old when his parents were diagnosed with being born deaf. The automatic reaction was to adjust expectations: after all, a deaf child would by definition be condemned to an isolated and underprivileged existence. Now father Alex de Ronde, together with the now young adult Tobias and his hearing brother Joachim, looks back on the life of his deaf child.
