"JANE'S GOT A HEAVY DATE...WITH THE ARMY!"
The arrogant young actress Ann Winters no longer wants to play childish roles and resigns. The studio replaces her with the president of her fan club, who happens to resemble her. Meanwhile, other former child actors trying to put on a show for US military personnel can only do so if Ann wants to join in. They decide to convince her to appear on their show. But they don't know she's a different person than they think.
