Une Saison en France plot
Abbas, a French teacher, has fled the war in Central Africa to start a new life in France. While waiting for his refugee status, Abbas organizes his daily life: his children go to school and he works at a market where he met Carole. Sensitive to the courage of this man, who is still haunted by the ghosts of the past, Carole offers him and his family shelter in her house. But if his asylum is denied, what would happen to Abbas and his uprooted family? What about Carole, robbed of the house she thought she was rebuilding?
