It has, often literally, little substance, but let's look at it positively: slightly better than the countless Dutch romantic comedies we've seen in recent years. I actually managed to laugh a few times, and that is probably the highest achievable with this type of film. In the first half, by the way, you get the feeling you're watching a number of standalone sketches rather than a coherent narrative. That improves gradually, but then it turns out that Karthaus is not a good storyteller, and towards the end, his film collapses like a house of cards due to its predictability. Actually a typical women's movie with occasional sharp humor, in which the men have been considered as well, since the three attractive ladies in the lead roles appear prominently in sexy clothing both at the beginning and at the end. The ladies Spoor, Van Deursen, and Laurenssen fit well with these Bella Donnas in terms of acting level: they won't win a Golden Calf with their slightly too exaggerated acting, but they are perfectly suited for this kind of fast-food movie. A barely passing grade.

Not terribly annoying, although the film tries to be funnier than it actually is. The script does try, but the actresses lack the timing to make the jokes that could work well actually land. There is chemistry between them, though, and they do feel like a pair of friends (which is saying a lot; I often find that disappointing in Dutch films), and that makes the film watchable. Otherwise, nothing special and completely predictable from A to Z, but on a Saturday morning, I don't want to take it too seriously. 2.5*.

Oh well, I had already foreseen that this was going to be extremely predictable even before I started the movie, but the ladies weren't a chore to look at and the acting was decent. 
Not good, but could be much worse.
