Interesting film and kept me in suspense.

But how extremely bad was this acting, and what kind of cardboard characters?

Felt like a school scene at times.

However, for some reason I didn't mind this movie too much.

Inspired by facts that really happened, in which the Tunisian police get a lashing out, but at the same time the film is also proof of how women have nowhere to go in a powerful man's world. There is the girl, but also the nurse, the journalist and even the female police officer.

A very good act is performed by Mariam Al Ferjani as the humiliated girl who endures even more horrors in her search for justice.

It produces emotional feelings of pity for the viewer, in stark contrast to the horror of a feral gang, deeply unworthy of their position.

There is probably a lot to criticize about this film, but that couldn't prevent me from sitting on the edge of my seat. Out of anger. This intense film, based on true events, confronts you with the fact that a young woman has no chance in advance in a macho culture. Especially when the machos keep each other's hand above their heads. This is not only happening in Tunisia, but almost everywhere in the world.

The protagonist Mariam Al Ferjani is a talented actress. I hope to see them more often.

At the beginning of this year I saw a film from India (Pink, 2016) with a slightly different story, but just as annoying.
