Mari McGabe grew up as an orphan after her parents were murdered due to local greed, corruption and violence. But Mari refuses to surrender to the terror around her. She inherited the Tantu Totem from her parents. This allows her to take over the powers of animals, such as the strength of a gorilla or the speed of a cheetah. As Vixen, she fights against all the evil in the world that cost her parents' lives.
