"The End Is Near"
When major problems with volcanoes arise on Earth, geophysicist Kate Ferris tries to convince the government that the cause is not natural. The real cause is a seismic superweapon, which will cause the major cities of the earth to be destroyed. Millions of people will die because of this. However, no one wants to believe Kate. Together with her daughter and estranged husband, Kate sets out to save the planet.

Tremble and shake! The world needs to be saved yet again, because humanity shot itself in the foot once more by unleashing a seismic superweapon on us. The bits of government tinkering are sleep-inducing, though the rescue efforts by Kate Ferris and her family are still somewhat entertaining, albeit rinx and repeat.
The final solution was also quite radical:
"Sometimes the only way to save the planet... is to shake it up."
Not the worst movie yet, but obviously rather on the bland side.
