Enjoyed the movie, but expected a little more.

Actually, the problem lies with the starting point. Earth is becoming uninhabitable, so they are experimenting with humans so they can survive on the uninhabitable moon Titan. Wouldn't it be better to experiment with people so that they can cope with the difficult living conditions on earth? Makes more sense..

I've seen Worthington play pretty well in a lot of dramas, but it would be better if he skipped the blockbusters a bit more.

3.0*

Great gift. Moderate effect.

The film wants too much in too little time. There is science fiction for the adventurous thrill. There is drama for the psychological tension. However, both layers are designed too superficially and too simply, so that the film experience feels rather flat. Too much hay on the fork. No aspect is sufficiently explored. No aspect grabs you by the throat.

The maker fails to make a choice. A clear choice would have made the film better. Get the sci-fi action complete with training, spaceflight and survival on the planet Titan. Or go for the psychological side, in which the deeper attention is paid to the changes in the characters' beings with all the psychological consequences that entails. I think by emphasizing one aspect you get a more dynamic film.

Another choice is to opt for both aspects, but in more depth in a longer film. Would have worked too I guess.

Conclusion: the attention that the elements of adventure, action and psychology get in this film is not intense enough and that is a shame. All these aspects are initially interesting. The effect is neither meat nor fish and that makes watching the film a disappointing experience.

After a slow start, the film started to get interesting. The idea is not crazy and I am sure that these kinds of experiments take place.

It is not a top film, but they have captured one thing beautifully: unconditional love!
