Elena and Antonia are not really made for each other: they are opposites: too different in character, lifestyle, their view of the world and the way they form friendships with others. However, they are physically attracted to each other. But it's better if they keep their feelings under control because Elena is engaged to Giorgio and Antonio to Silvia. The latter is Elena's best friend. Elena is also friends with the younger Fabio, who hates Antonio because he is a big homophobe.
