The film is skillfully made so that it looks nice and never gets boring, but the story is thin and clichéd and never really captivates. The film could also have been shorter, because almost two hours for the simple story is very long.

I do have it for Italian cinema and especially for the language that works so juicy and contagious. Nothing overacting, just a language that can't sound ugly and even gets an extra charm in heated discussions and quarrels. That's what I found in this film and partly because of that I found it quite enjoyable.

The film may be a bit clichéd, but it does charm and keeps you interested until the end. The film seems to want to show how couples should look at each other. Should we always look for the ideal image, just as many employers look for those unattainable and even non-existent white ravens? Or do you settle for the small sides of your partner and make the best of it together?

The latter is required of them when they suddenly find themselves at a guest house with two children. And the stay only becomes longer as it becomes clear what is wrong with the mother. Towards the end, the film does get a small (welcome) boost at that granny. The film is well-behaved and babbles on merrily. The acting is fine and the atmosphere is also quite good. I was genuinely interested in how the children and the relationship of Arturo and Allessandro would continue and that will take you a long way...

This movie is one of the best in the genre.

Of course the story is not much special, but the atmosphere of Italy and the close-knit club of friends is beautifully portrayed.

The actors play well and are not portrayed as stereotypical gay cousins, but simply 'men', as there are so many who happen to like men. So there was no irritation with my friend and me.

Furthermore, the film is quite long, but it gets quite exciting at the end.
