After leaving her daughter with family, Val works for the next 13 years as Fabinho's nanny in São Paulo. She has a steady income, but she lives with the guilt of not raising Jéssica herself. Then it turns out that Jéssica wants to come to São Paulo to take her entrance exams and live with her mother. Val rejoices to be close to her daughter. When Jéssica arrives, living together turns out not to be easy.
