The adventurer Colonel Michael Donovan is hired by a political party in a kingdom in Europe. Donovan must kidnap the young King Peter so that his principal can take over the government of the country. However, King Peter enjoys the new situation, as it frees him from the protocol at court. When King Peter is reluctantly freed, Donovan is sent to prison. But Donovan manages to escape and realizes that the political party he had worked for was actually planning to kill King Peter and turn his kingdom into a dictatorship.
