Elser plot
Georg Elser was a man who could have changed world history and saved millions of lives. If only he had 13 more minutes. With 13 minutes more, the bomb, which he personally assembled, would have ripped apart Adolf Hitler and his accomplices. It was not to be, however, and on November 8, 1939, Hitler left the scene of the assassination attempt earlier than expected, causing Elser's plan to fail catastrophically. Who was this man who saw the danger posed by Hitler before many others, who took action when everyone, including the German generals, meekly followed orders or remained silent?

Reasonable film about a failed bomb attack on Adolf Hitler just before the outbreak of the second world war. Flashbacks tell how the attacker came to his act, but the main character is less captivating here and the film lacks tension. The story itself is still worth seeing.

We wouldn't know and that's why we'll leave it at the announcement that we also liked this film (in the genre) and again came to the conclusion that there were also many good people in the 2nd world war who had higher principles that "boyfriend of everyone" to be. It is wonderful that these forgotten heroes are still offered a stage!!!

The Second World War remains an inexhaustible source of interesting stories. The life story of Georg Elser was unknown to me, but it is another impressive story about a man who knew early on that Hitler was wrong, and wanted to kill him in 1939 by means of a bomb attack. The way the story is built (flashbacks) sometimes feels a bit contrived, but the acting by Friedel, Schuttler and the other actors makes up for a lot. And the subject is very interesting.
