"A musical meteor of songs, comedy and romance!"
The owner of radio station WHY, Spud Miller, is the station's sole presenter. Together with his buddy Smiley Goodwin, the house singer, he provides many radio shows. Because the station is almost bankrupt, Spud decides to work with a couple who offer him an invention: a device that should make the station profitable.
