Bonanza plot

Bonanza is set in America around 1860 and revolves around the Cartwright family. The family consists of a father, Ben, and his three sons, Adam, Hoss and Little Joe. Every son is from a different mother because Ben Cartwright has the habit of losing his wives quickly. Together, the men run the Ponderosa ranch in Nevada, near Virginia City.
