Westwall plot

Young policewoman Julia Gerloff meets charismatic Nick Limbach and soon they spend their first night together. Julia discovers that Nick has a swastika tattooed on his back. Friends and family and Julia herself are shocked, but Nick claims he has put his far-right past behind him. Nevertheless, Julia begins to investigate and encounters not only an extreme right-wing network within the police and the Bundesamt für Verfassungsschutz, but also apparently abandoned bunkers, the Westwall, in the Eifel.
