Anoniem plot

At a time when crime grips our country and the system seems to be failing, the life of depressed history teacher Jurre Jansen finds itself in a rut. His teenage children ignore him, while his wife and prosecutor Sarah is after a big drug lord and sleeps more at the office than at home. When Jurre frees a girl from a dangerous situation one evening, the next day he is suddenly known as the anonymous hero on social media. When he then discovers that drugs are being traded at the high school where he teaches, he decides to radically change his life.

Watched everything in two days: it was a nice idea, but quite a few mistakes or things that make you think: why? The high/low point was the ninth episode: where you normally sometimes see a broken/repaired window or bumper when changing scenes, Anonymous did better: during the scene change, the entire car changed. Complete with brand and registration. How? You see something like that in the final edit, don't you?

Prima serie van Nederlandse bodem. Had de serie gemist, maar heb nu serie 1 terug kunnen kijken op NPO Start. Jeroen Spitzenberger is top-acteur, zonder de andere acteurs te kort willen doen. Zoals dat in Nederland nu in eenmaal gaat, zien we veelal dezelfde acteurs terug in dit soort series. Hebben we geen voorraadje andere acteurs? Toch zie ik ook jonge acteurs die het best goed doen in deze serie. Inderdaad hier en daar ongeloofwaardig. De duffe geschiedenisleraar maakt een revolutionaire metamorfose door als een soort Superman/Batman. Ging mij iets te snel. Het thema van drugshandel op scholen wordt prima in beeld gebracht. Het is als school verdomd moeilijk om hier wat aan te doen. Hoe jongeren gecharterd worden om drugs te dealen. Het zal je kind maar wezen. We zijn in Nederland gewend om bijna alles af te kraken wat we op eigen bodem produceren aan films en series.. Per definitie deugt het niet. Ik vind dat niet terecht. Hoewel "Anoniem" geen pareltje is, kan het best mee door. Ben benieuwd naar serie 2.

Jeroen Spitzenberger is a top actor, without wanting to discredit the other actors.

As is the way it is in the Netherlands these days, we often see the same actors in these kinds of shows. Don't we have a pool of other actors? Yet, I also see young actors doing quite well in these shows.

Indeed, it's a bit unbelievable in places. The dull history teacher undergoes a revolutionary metamorphosis, like some kind of Superman/Batman. It went a bit too fast for me.

The topic of drug dealing in schools is presented very well. It's incredibly difficult for schools to do anything about it. How young people are being recruited to deal drugs. Imagine if it were your child.

In the Netherlands, we're used to criticizing almost everything we produce domestically in terms of films and series. It's inherently flawed. I don't think that's fair. While "Anonymous" isn't a gem, it's still a decent film. I'm curious about series 2.
