2033. A young app developer, Nathan Brown, is hospitalized after an accident involving a self-driving car. There he must quickly determine his fate. After an emergency meeting with his superficial girlfriend Ingrid, he chooses to be uploaded to the luxurious virtual afterlife 'Lakeview', owned by the company Horizen. Once uploaded into Lakeview, Nathan meets his customer service representative "Angel" Nora Anthony, who is initially his charismatic guide, but soon becomes his friend and confidante, helping him navigate this new digital expansion of life.

Upload was a really fresh, funny show, but it really should have ended after season 3. Season 4 just doesn't have it. It's very short, feels like a bit of a sideshow, a way to keep things going. There are no new ideas, really. It was incredibly stupid to do this.
I see on the poster that it's the final season. Well, that's not how you end a show. A "danger" is invented and resolved in four solutions, and it's all just not good enough. It's only four episodes, and it's not bad, just a bit meh.
