Season 2 is fortunately better than the mediocre first season, which certainly had potential but fell short on too many parts. There was too little line in the rather confused story and the characters were quite annoying.
In this second season, the story is a bit tighter and more engaging. The cast is and remains mediocre, except for Jane, visually it is fine. The build-up to the climax is nice, but the ending could have come a bit earlier. I hope that the upward trend towards the third season continues, it could be something then.

While still sick in the same bed as the first season, this one is better. Although the characters are still not very well developed, at least one is added that gives an interesting new perspective, that of the more militaristic Martians, who have organized their society in a more Heinlein-like, meritocratic way than Earth, which in contrast has many outliers. Now not much attention is paid to this, but the story remains fascinating, gains momentum and has many new twists and plenty of tension. Furthermore, some will rejoice that the most criticized actor, Thomas Jane, clearly fades into the background. A number of important players in the battlefield also show their dark side. Visually, the series also takes a modest step forward, there is more to see, although there are never really cool designs to admire.
