Lost in Space plot
In the year 2046, the Robinson family discovers a rift in space-time with the spaceship Jupiter 2 and crashes on an unknown planet. A pretty disappointing season. I started watching a month ago and compared the pilot to that of The Walking Dead. A good focus on the main characters and the quality radiated from them. Unfortunately, the rest of the season also followed the Walking Dead formula. Endless problems that arise and forced conversations between protagonists. It made the series quite boring, although there were also plenty of tense moments, like the last minute of the eighth episode.
There was also a lot of difference in the characters. Teenage daughter Penny and mostly villainous Dr. Smith were very poorly written and the acting didn't help either. If a character is already so much hated, I'm curious how the writers Dr. Smith next season.

The series started strongly with the first two episodes. Halfway through it weakens and towards the end it climbs out of the valley again. I have to say that I found the series quite well-behaved, full of clichés, at times almost Disney-esque. So it took me a while before I felt like watching it again. Acting not very strong, certain actors (characters) even quite annoying (Dr. Smith), but beautiful images and sets. Computer effects were fine, contrary to what I occasionally read above. Finally watched it yesterday and I'm secretly looking forward to season 2.

The first 2-3 episodes were still manageable. But as has been said before, Parker Posey really ruins the entire series for me. A poorly written role and very poorly acted. I'm very annoyed by it. I'm going to watch the season, but actually hope every episode that she dies, then the series can be sustained...

A good example is episode 9 around 13 minutes, Judy knows that her parents are floating on that gas planet in maintenance machines, she is looking for her family after which she is pulled into a niche by her sister... Instead of first in panic that their parents are trapped on that planet they argue extensively about that robot and Will's plan. Well sorry but that is just a more than childishly weak display and the series is packed with that. So that really doesn't work for me.
