Impulse plot
Impulse follows 16-year-old Henrietta, aka Henry, who discovers she has the ability to teleport. The first time she realizes this, she is in a car with the "Golden Boy" from her high school, who tries to rape her. She has a sudden attack and teleports away in the process, inadvertently crushing him and leaving him with a spinal cord injury.

Extremely entertaining series about a girl, Henry, who suffers from unexplained seizures, she doesn't have the best home situation and has lost her driver's license for at least 3 years due to her seizures. Her stepdad and mom sell her car because of fines. Later at school, she notices that Bill Boone (who is a 1st grade criminal bastard anyway) is being rude to his son Clay. And the next day of school, she confronts Clay about stealing a car, since Bill does cars. He has no doubts. Together in his car, they stand still, there is attraction on both sides and begin to kiss passionately, but as soon as Clay goes full for white, Henry is a little more hesitant at first, she clearly says no several times, whereupon Clay starts to act more brutally and when wanting to rape her, Henry has another attack, but the car is half crushed and she suddenly ends up in her room with a violent bang, with parts including the door of Clay's car. Her husband and stepdad went to look, car parts quickly covered, but there is also a hole in the ceiling and part of the wall.
The start of a fascinating series and which apparently knows how to interest few here in the Netherlands and Belgium.
VAT. if comparisons are made with the film 'Jumper' 2008, I thought that film was really bad, this is a completely different story.
