Heylen en de Herkomst plot

Martin Heylen accompanies famous Belgians with exotic roots on a search for their origin. Together they immerse themselves in the local culture of the cradle and discover life as it could have been. Together they go in search of the strange soul and the traces of their origin. Among others Burkina Faso, Greece and Russia are visited. Heylen invariably ends with the question: Are we going home, or are we already there?
