Adventurer Ed Stafford drops off at some of the most extreme and desolate places on Earth to experience what it's like to be truly lost. From the Atacama Desert in Bolivia and the jungles of Panama to dangerous mountain ranges in Mongolia, Laos and Bulgaria. Without tools and without food, he has to try to find his way back to civilization. He gives himself ten days for this, according to experts the maximum that a person can survive without water.
