Set against the backdrop of the tropical Whitsunday Islands and the world-famous Great Barrier Reef in northeastern Australia, the series follows the complex, often explosive dynamics of the crew and a rotating group of discerning charter guests on M/Y Thalassa. The crew members face unique challenges every day, as guests expect an adventure not only on the water, but also underwater, with diving and other activities being some of the region's main attractions.
