Apples Never Fall plot

Former tennis teachers Stan and Joy Delaney have sold their successful tennis academy and are ready to embark on what should be the golden years of their lives. While they look forward to spending time with their four adult children, everything changes when an injured young woman knocks on Joy and Stan's door and brings them the excitement they've been missing. But when Joy suddenly disappears, her children are forced to reexamine their parents' so-called perfect marriage as their family's darkest secrets come to the surface.

Anyone who thinks that a new Bloodline (family drama), Big Little Lies (mystery), The White Lotus (satire) or Desperate Housewives (comedy) will be invented here will be disappointed. Apple's Never Fall starts hopefully but cannot live up to expectations for a moment. The seven-part series is disappointing on all fronts; the acting, the screenplay (Liane Moriarty's book is hopefully better) and the missing person drama; it will be a long and, above all, predictable session.
