American Horror Story is an anthology horror series which features a different story each season. The first focused on a murder house and this was followed by an asylum, a witch coven, a freak show, a hotel, a farmhouse in Roanoke, a cult, the apocalypse and a summer camp.

The most consistent season in years. It finally seems as if the writers already had a beginning and an end in their heads and that not everything was made up along the way. In my opinion, the series has gotten a bit better in the last three years.

This season is all about things: the election between Trump and Hilary, the rise of a cult, the life of a lesbian couple, Charles Manson, fear of clowns, a battle between news reporters, the feminist movement, the attack on Andy Warhol and much more. Lake.

Many actors from the previous series are back in the party. Notable names include Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Emma Roberts, Frances Conroy and Cheyenne Jackson. Big absent is for the first time Lily Rabe. Sarah Paulson is phenomenal again, but it is Evan Peters as the cult leader who really stands out. A very creepy character. The newcomers are also not wrong: Billie Lourd (daughter of Carrie Fisher), Alison Pill, Leslie Grossman and Lena Dunham are also present. I haven't been annoyed with anyone this season, not even Frances Conroy.

While this isn't necessarily a very long season, it could have been just a little shorter. A lot has been made up to stretch the season. In addition, major themes from the early episodes, such as the fear of clowns, disappear completely in the later episodes. Perhaps the writers wanted to put a little too much into one season, which didn't always work out well.
