'House of David' tells the story of the rise of the biblical figure David, who grows to be the most famous and beloved king of Israel. The series follows the once mighty King Saul as he falls victim to his own pride. Under God's guidance, the prophet Samuel anoints an outcast, a teenage boy, as the new king. When one leader falls, another must rise.

House of David is een serie gebaseerd op bijbelse vertellingen. Uiteraard moet men dit allemaal niet feitelijk opvatte, maar het heeft veel raakvlakken met de bijbelse inhoud! De serie, naar mijn mening, is heerlijk en professioneel in beeld gebracht. Een mooi verhaalslijn. Spannend, romantisch, boeiend, fraaie beelden...gewoon een serie die je meevoert in het verhaal en constant boeit! Een gewone goede verhaalslijn, maar als je wilt ook in de spirituele geloof sfeer...gewoon een serie voor iedereen...één van de betere (geloofs) series...aanbevelingswaardig...!

House of David is a series based on biblical stories. Of course, this should not be taken factually, but it has many similarities with the biblical content!

The series, in my opinion, is wonderfully and professionally filmed. A beautiful storyline. Exciting, romantic, captivating, beautiful images...just a series that takes you along in the story and constantly captivates!

A normal good storyline, but if you want also in the spiritual faith atmosphere...just a series for everyone...one of the better (faith) series...recommended...!
