New Amsterdam plot
In 1642 John Amsterdam managed to prevent the murder of an Indian girl. However, he was fatally injured. In gratitude, the girl saved his life by making him immortal. Only when he meets his true love will he become mortal again. Today John works as a police detective in New York. Only Omar, the owner of a blues club, knows about John's secret.
