Monstrous plot

A giant Buddha statue is being unearthed in a rural town. The mayor believes it will turn the city into a major tourist attraction. However, strange things begin to happen due to an ancient curse being unleashed from the statue. The curse targets the souls of humans and renders them non-human. Archaeologist Jung Ki-hoon tries to uncover the truth behind the paranormal phenomenon.
