Zomer in Zeeland plot
After the death of his wife, columnist Sjors Mulder decides to completely change course and move with his children from Amsterdam to the Zeeland village of Lekzand. His daughter Fenna and son Jurgen are not at all waiting for this sudden change. The only one who still somewhat understands Sjors' decision is his editor-in-chief and good friend Juul. He discusses the strange goings-on in Lekzand with her, where he gets to know striking types. When it turns out that Sjors describes his frank opinion about the village in a column in a national newspaper, he immediately becomes the center of attention of the fellow villagers.
