Versailles plot
It is 1667 and the twenty-eight year old almighty king of France Louis XIV decides to build the largest palace in the world at Versailles. But lack of budgets, affairs and political intrigue complicate matters. We see King Louis XIV slowly turning into an emancipated sovereign with a cunning understanding of the workings of power.
