Undercover plot

A lawyer returns to England to become the first colored Director of Public Prosecutions. She begins to think that everything she thought she knew about the man she's been married to for 20 years is a lie. Her husband Nick was a brave and determined undercover officer at the time, who infiltrated several organizations, risking his own life. Maya's discovery puts their love life on the line.

This is probably the worst crime series I've ever seen with a laundry basket full of ridiculous, unrealistic and improbable events and premise and a very distorted view of the world. After six episodes I still have no idea what this was all about. I kept watching in hopes that the last part would shed some light, but that hope was in vain because the last part was the most improbable of all.

Also striking: all white men are bad, all black men are good in this series and a score of 6.8 on IMDb incomprehensible to me. Did I miss something?
