De reeks zit nog steeds op niveau, met ook dit vierde seizoen een sublieme en vooral verslavende mix van drama en komedie. Qua structuur steekt het ditmaal vernuftiger dan ooit in elkaar, met een kunstig gebruik van tijdlijnen en vooruitwijzingen. De eerste aflevering maakt het wat dat betreft wel heel bont, door een groot aantal nieuwe personages te introduceren, die aanvankelijk niets met de rest van de cast te maken lijken te hebben. De gok pakt in ieder geval goed uit.

In terms of structure, this time it is more ingenious than ever, with an artful use of timelines and foreshadowings. Nu het 4e seizoen er op zitten en alhoewel ik het een goede serie vind, erger ik me steeds meer aan Randall. Wat een vreselijke vent is dat zeg.
