The Lakes plot

Danny Kavanagh works as a hotel doorman but is better known as an obsessive gambler and notorious flirt. He decides to leave Liverpool to settle in the Lake District. He meets Emma Quinlan and the two get married. Danny's gambling problems continue and Emma can no longer bear this. Danny has messed up his life and will have to work hard to get it back on track. When a horrific crime is committed, Danny must grow up quickly.
