The Event plot
The Event centers on Sean Walker investigating the mysterious disappearance of his fiancée Leila. In doing so, he suddenly exposes the biggest cover-up in the history of the country, which even the newly elected president will have to deal with. Wonderful series, and a small scandal that this never got a second season and has always been so underexposed.
Fantastic casting first of all with brilliant roles from Zeljko Ivanek and Blair Underwood. The rest of the cast is also excellent. Pace is, despite the high number of episodes, lightning fast, and the plot continues to develop amazingly. So sour that this excellent first season has never been followed up with a 2nd season, especially due to the number of questions you are left with.
