This series is very frustrating, it has everything to be a good series, but it is absolutely not. This review is not from me, but I completely agree with it.
I found the series horribly bad. The acting of some was really not to watch, the one who played Ethan really needs to find another job, also the duo inspectors were amateurs.
And I've never been a fan of Biel. I think she has a bit of a problem with Justin, because she didn't look too good, but that's besides the point.
And then that amateurish business with those empty cups. They all clearly drink from cups that contain absolutely nothing, and hot coffee steams people... is that so difficult.
Luckily, Prime is dirt cheap, because the supply of good material is poor...

Streaming is for me relaxation in watching. I will not judge everything in detail otherwise you will not enjoy the film or series. In the first episodes it took me some effort to get into the story, but once in it went fine.
Watched the entire series in one go, I recommend it, I must say that in the last episode everything went a bit faster, that could have been spread out over one more episode.
Lovely light crime drama that you want to watch in a row. It became a late one for me.

The Better Sister is an eight-part American series about complex family relationships, based on the book of the same name by former prosecutor Alafair Burke. The psychological thriller drama, starring Jessica Biel, is a real slow burner. The wheel is not reinvented in The Better Sister, but the series is produced with the utmost care in all aspects - acting, plot and character development, cinematography. Biel (Candy, Cruel Summer) plays the icy Chloe Taylor, and her role is reminiscent of the inscrutable lead role in the first season of quality series The Sinner. The Better Sister does not reach the level of family dramas such as Presumed Innocent or Defending Jacob, but patience is ultimately rewarded here.
