Roots plot

The Mandinka Kunta Kinte is captured by slave drivers near his village of Juffure in The Gambia, and shipped to Annapolis, Maryland to be sold into slavery. His slave name becomes Toby. This miniseries follows Kunta Kinte and his descendants over the years that follow.
