Réttur plot
Detective Gabriela investigates the apparent suicide of a teenager. She begins to dig into the girl's life and gradually bites into the matter. Meanwhile, the girl's family is also busy and hires a smart lawyer, who has ruined his life through drink and recklessness. With this case, the lawyer has a new goal in his life and is also doing everything he can to uncover the truth.

Well, it's a pity that no one realizes that this is actually season 3 of Réttur. In the first two seasons (Réttur (TV Series 2009– ) - IMDb, not available on Netflix) the story of the lawyer Logi explained. Nevertheless, the third season, without having seen the first two, can be followed well, so without the foreknowledge of why Logi is such a drinking organ. In this final season, some storylines are intertwined; very well put together. The whole is an exciting crime series with a good cast. I think a downside is the number of stupid and unrealistic decisions in this plot. Unfortunately, the probability, speed and suspense decreases during the last three parts and, as is fairly standard with Scandinavian series, some issues are solved, but there are also openings for a fourth season. Also in this series it is a pity that everything is worked out quite well, except for the ending, which was rather rushed.

Exciting and compelling, this sexually explicit, quite eerie Netflix Original series from Iceland. It takes some getting used to the raw style and the pretty wacky characters, but soon the plot knows how to captivate and then doesn't let go. With nine episodes, everything else is just long enough.
