Red Light plot
Three women become entangled in the world of trafficking, prostitution and organized crime when the husband of one of them disappears. Sylvia works in a brothel with her boyfriend, Esther is a well-known soprano singer from a wealthy background and Evi is a passionate policewoman who tries to combine a big case with her family life. They end up in the dangerous and intriguing world of people smuggling, prostitution and exploitation in Antwerp and Amsterdam. Gradually, the absolute opposites discover how much they need each other to solve their problems.

The series ripples from episode 4 to 7 and that's a shame because it started very promising.
The ending is exciting and pays off a bit.
Much is due to the acting of Carice van Houten and Geert Van Rampelberg and also a little to that of Maaike Neuville, as a young police officer, although I did have problems with her role because of her attitude towards her family.
The detective profession is not without stress, but still.
3.5 is the highest I can give it.

A pretty interesting series in its own right. There were pretty good elements in it and the cast was good too, as was most of the acting. However, the filmmakers made one very big mistake: copied too much from their American colleagues. And that starts with the plot that was for the most part improbable. As an example, the solo actions of the detectives. The same for the police actions: reinforcements are requested in broad daylight and hours later, when it is completely dark, they arrive. Is it so difficult to make things like this a bit more realistic? To me, this detracts from something that could have been quite good. The fact that this series is known as drama is correct: what a load of misery. Even the side storylines have nothing to make you happy; well, maybe the lock for Sylvia. For me at least the credits.
