Private Practice plot

Private Practice is the spin-off of the popular hospital drama Grey's Anatomy. Characters from both series are regularly seen in a guest role. In Private Practice, the character Addison Forbes Montgomery takes center stage. She is a renowned surgeon, specializing in treating newborn babies. Friends and former colleagues Naomi and Sam ask her to work at the small Oceanside Wellness Center clinic in Santa Monica. She decides to accept this offer and goes for a fresh start in warm Los Angeles.
