Beautiful series about a number of transgender "mothers" and their ups and downs in the Ball scene of New York in the 80s. Not every character is equally sympathetic, but they are characters with depth. The acting is very good, as is the decoration of both the sets and the characters. As said above, even if this is not your scene, we are all people and we all want the same thing: safety, security, belonging. And that also applies to the ladies in this series. Insane respect for people who, despite the possible dangers, strive to be their authentic selves and express themselves, both the people in this series and outside of it.
