Pose plot
The 1980s in New York saw the emergence of a new subculture: Ball. Here the LGBT community could be itself and dancing was central. In addition, this time saw the rise of the Trump era with an emphasis on luxury and excess. The social and literary subculture in the center also emerged. Beautiful series about a number of transgender "mothers" and their ups and downs in the Ball scene of New York in the 80s. Not every character is equally sympathetic, but they are characters with depth. The acting is very good, as is the decoration of both the sets and the characters. As said above, even if this is not your scene, we are all people and we all want the same thing: safety, security, belonging. And that also applies to the ladies in this series. Insane respect for people who, despite the possible dangers, strive to be their authentic selves and express themselves, both the people in this series and outside of it.

Season 3 is indeed a bit less. But in the end I did enjoy 3 seasons. Still, quite a few storylines are not well or sloppy completed and that is a shame.
But god I cried at the last episode. You knew it was going to come to Praytell, but still. Don't often have that with a movie or series.
