Necessary Roughness plot

A crisis creates new opportunities. Here comes psychotherapist Dr. Dani Santino after throwing her unfaithful husband out of the house. Not everything runs smoothly with her daughter Lindsay either. Dani throws himself into work to pay the bills. A golden opportunity presents itself when Matt, the coach of an American football team, enlists her help to treat top player TK. Dani's tough no-nonsense approach quickly pays off. Soon there are athletes, entertainers, politicians and other celebrities in her practice for treatment. But the balance between private and work turns out to be an impossible task for Dani.
