Murder Most Puzzling plot
When a strange murder occurs in the sleepy town of Bakerbury, the local police are baffled. A crossword puzzle left on the body remains unsolved. When the investigation goes nowhere, they reluctantly turn to Cora Felton, a newcomer to Bakerbury; her fame as the eponymous Puzzle Lady suggests she might be able to help Detective Hooper and the Bakerbury police solve their first murder case.
