Midtsommernatt plot
Midtsummernatt takes place during the longest day of the year, a traditional Norwegian and Swedish holiday when families gather. The Swedish Carina and the Norwegian Johannes celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary on that day. They take the opportunity to tell the family a big secret and that will have enormous consequences. All this ensures that there is love, hope, sadness, jealousy, forgiveness and much more in the air during this Midsummer Night.

Through the many surprises that fill this family chronicle, not exactly profound but truly human, the sad and funny character drawing, heartwarming remains.
Atmospheric, folkloric and honoring the importance of family and friendship.
Enjoyable, easy to watch, don't get caught up in the drama, sometimes take it with a grain of salt and benefit from the many wonderfully optimistic moments and... good performances.
