Mentiras plot
Majorcan literature teacher Laura Munar goes on a first date with the respected and successful surgeon Xavier Vera. The next day, upset by her memories of the events at the end of this date with Xavier, Laura claims to have been raped by Xavier; he claims she doesn't remember well. She accuses him of rape. Then the search for the truth begins: Laura seeks justice, while Xavier vehemently denies her story about the date.

A remake of the British series Liar which was also pleasant to watch, I thought the Spanish lead actress was slightly better than Joanne Froggatt in the British version. Joanne Froggatt was fantastic in Downton Abbey, among others, but the role of seductive vamp I found a little less for her....
